Inconel 625 Round Bars & Bar Stock: A Premier Manufacturer, Supplier & Exporter
USA Piping Solution is a leading manufacturer, supplier, and exporter of high quality Inconel 625 Round Bars. Our Inconel 625 bar is a high-performance nickel-based superalloy developed specifically for applications requiring high strength and oxidation resistance. Many of the other superalloys depend on age-hardening to develop their strength, while the strength of the Alloy 625 Round Bar relies solely on the potent solid-solution strengthening effects of molybdenum and niobium. Because of this, our Inconel 625 Bar Stock is also uniquely adaptable to more aggressive environments with different forms of immersion - from high temperature oxidizing media to corrosive saltwater. We stock a comprehensive range of Inconel 625 rod in an array of sizes and finishes that are all certified to international specifications.

What is Inconel 625 Round Bar?
Inconel 625 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy that cannot be age-hardened and is also noted for its extremely high strength, toughness, and also for its excellent resistance to corrosion. The elemental composition (e.g., 8-10% molybdenum and 3.15-4.15% niobium) gives exceptional protection from various corrosive attacks (including but not limited to pitting, crevice corrosion, intergranular attack, and chloride-ion stress-corrosion cracking), and the metallurgical structure provides favorable fatigue strength and high tensile strength. Inconel 625 can withstand usable temperatures from cryogenic to 1800°F (982° C). The benefits of Inconel 625 do not stem from a specific heat treatment, therefore the Inconel 625 Round Bar is well suited for complex fabricating and welding operations as it is already fatiguing when welding, without concern for cracking when welding.

Request QuoteFrequently Asked Questions
What is the main difference between Inconel 625 and Inconel 718?
The principal difference is how each alloy gains strength. Inconel 625 is solid-solution strengthened while Inconel 718 is age hardenable through heat treatment. The result is that Inconel 625 is more broadly resistant to a wider range of corrosive media, whereas Inconel 718 is known for better creep-rupture strengths when considered at high temperature.
Is Inconel 625 weldable?
Yes, Inconel 625 has great weldability and is one of the more easily welded nickel alloys. Inconel 625 can be welded through any welding process without concern for spontaneous cracking. Due to its weldability, Inconel 625 is widely used as a filler metal for welding other high nickel alloys.
What are the primary applications of Inconel 625 Round Bars?
The main applications of Inconel 625 Round Bars are industries that require the highest levels of corrosion resistance & specifically salt water environments or chemical processing environments. These include components for marine equipment, chemical plant reactor components and pollution control systems.
