Q235 Steel Pipes, Q235 Steel Tubes Suppliers & Exporter in USA
Q235 is a widely utilized Chinese carbon structural steel grade, classified as a mild steel that typically requires no heat treatment for production. Its name is self-explanatory: the Q means the yield point, and 235 is the yield strength in MPa. This material is very plastic and has good weldability thus can be rolled into most of the forms such as plates, rods, bars and angle frames. Increasing in the opposite direction with the material thickness, although it has a natural tendency to reduce the value of yield, although moderately carroneous it is thus a well-balanced material in performance, and is the standard material of general engineering and construction work throughout the world.
Q235 is often opposed to and replaced by ASTM A36 (USA) and JIS SS400 (Japan/Vietnam) in regards to global standards. Even though in most applications Q235 has slightly lower mechanical properties than A36, the two are functionally identical where they do not have special high-stress requirements. In niche projects (as with bridge works or marine engineering) the grade can be modified with suffixes to denote its use. Ultimately, Q235 is an excellent choice of structure steel that is of high quality and reliable, cost-effective as a material to use in building strong infrastructure and manufacturing.
USA piping solution is the leading manufacturer and exporter of the Q235 steel pipes and tubes that have also filled the gap between the standards of manufacturing and the strict requirements of the American industrial market. Our piping solutions offer complete coverage of the piping that is to be delivered to your project in terms of the set mechanical and chemical performance needed.

Difference Between A3 Steel Pipe and Q235 Steel Pipe
A3 steel pipe is an obsolete designation of the old Chinese GB/T 700 standard and is no longer used formally, and only used informally in speech, the replacement being Q235 steel pipe, which is the official grade under the current GB/T 700 standard. They are both low-carbon structural steel and are similar in strength and good weldability, although A3 did not tightly regulate chemical composition and primarily ensured mechanical properties. Unlike that, Q235 is bona fide in terms of chemical boundaries, yield strength (around 235 MPa) and quality grades (Q235A, B, C, D) which have certain impact toughness criteria. Practically, A3 has been substituted by Q235 in all technical literature, specification, and international trade whereby it is the proper and standardized option in the modern world.
