ASTM B407 Alloy 800 Seamless Pipe Manufacturer, Supplier & Exporter in USA
Incoloy 800 Pipes and tubes are superior products of iron nickel chromium alloys manufactured to provide excellent resistance against oxidation, carburization and stress-corrosion cracking at high temperatures. These are pipes and tubes that belong to the wider Inconel Pipes and Tubes family and are one of the best relied nickel alloy options that can function under high temperatures continuously. Produced to UNS N08800 / DIN 1.4876 (Werkstoff 1.4876), Incoloy 800 has a service life that is higher than that of any other material up to 1100 C, making it the material of choice as furnace muffles, superheater tubing, and reformer parts worldwide.
The performance of alloy 800 pipe is based on a well-defined chemistry of around 32% nickel to resist embrittlement and chloride stress-corrosion cracking, 21% chromium to offer oxidation and carburisation resistance and controlled additions of aluminium and titanium that stabilize the austenitic matrix against sigma-phase high-temperature embrittlement. Incoloy 800 tube has a higher creep strength and dimensional stability at thermal cycling between operating and ambient temperatures than plain austenitic stainless steels, a major factor in service in reheater, boiler, and ethylene pyrolysis service. In more extreme creep applications at over 593 C, look at our Incoloy 825 Pipes and Tubes or Inconel 625 Pipes and Tubes for extreme creep and crevice corrosion resistance.
The USA Piping Solution is a reliable manufacturer and exporter of Incoloy 800 pipes, which offers ASTM B407 / ASME SB407 alloy 800 seamless, ASTM B515 / ASME SB515 welded and alloy 800 tube in a complete size of OD, schedules and conditions of delivery. Incoloy 800 vs 800H vs 800HT - What's the Difference?
All three grades share the same base composition but differ in carbon control and Al+Ti content, which directly affects creep performance:
- Incoloy 800 (N08800 / 1.4876): Carbon max 0.10%, Al+Ti combined minimum 0.30%. General-purpose high-temperature grade for heat exchangers and process piping.
- Incoloy 800H (N08810 / 1.4958): Carbon 0.05-0.10%, grain size ASTM 5 or coarser. Superior creep and stress-rupture strength above 593 C, the standard for superheater tubing, reheater tubing, and steam reformers.
- Incoloy 800HT (N08811 / 1.4959): Carbon 0.06-0.10%, Al 0.25-0.60%, Ti 0.25-0.60%, combined Al+Ti minimum 0.85%. Maximum long-term creep resistance for the most demanding ethylene pyrolysis furnaces, vinyl chloride crackers, and high-temperature reformer coils.
