This alloy is composed of 76.0%–78.0% Copper, 1.8%–2.3% Aluminium and 0.02%–0.06% Arsenic and creates a protective self-healing oxide film which resists high velocity impingement corrosion and dezincification. They can withstand high operating pressure and high fluid velocity in condenser, evaporator and heat exchanger and range from an outer diameter of 4mm to 219mm, with a minimum tensile strength of 340MPa in the annealed temper state. All batches are completely tested for no defects in aggressive brackish water or seawater using Eddy Current and hydrostatic testing.
