Enhanced-surface chiller tube, the product class sold under various trade names for flooded and falling-film evaporators, is an integral low-fin construction with additional surface work on the fin tips; if your chiller OEM datasheet names a proprietary surface, send it over and we'll match the generic equivalent.

What is extruded type copper finned tube, and why specify it?

Extruded fin is raised from solid material, either the tube's own wall or a muff swaged tightly over it, rather than being a separate strip attached afterward. The result is complete metal contact at the fin root: no joint to loosen thermally and no crevice for atmospheric corrosion to start. It's the premium choice for taller fins in humid or coastal air.

Do you supply chiller-duty enhanced surface tube (Turbo-Chil type)?

We supply the generic equivalent: integral low-fin copper tube with enhanced evaporator/condenser surfaces. Named products of that kind are manufacturer trademarks; send the OEM datasheet and we'll quote the matching generic specification.

When should I move from copper to admiralty brass?

When the cooling water turns brackish or saline. Plain copper suffers impingement and erosion-corrosion in seawater condenser duty; admiralty brass C44300 is the inhibited alloy built for exactly that water.
