UNS S32615 Pipe
UNS S32615 Pipe is a highly resistant to corrosion pipe that is made of high-silicon austenitic stainless steel designed to be used in the aggressive chemical environment. The silicon content of the alloy is 4.8-6.0 percent and the copper content ranges 1.5-2.5 percent which gives it better resistance to sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid and other highly corrosive media that the conventional stainless grades succumb to quickly. UNS S32615 pipe is available in seamless and welded both per ASTM A312 / ASME SA-312 with pressure integrity and long-term corrosion resistance of process piping systems with high requirements.

UNS S32615 achieves its mechanical performance through alloying and cold working. The alloy cannot be hardened by heat treatment; solution annealing at 1050-1150C followed by water quenching restores optimum corrosion resistance.
