253 MA Pipes & Tubes are austenitic stainless steel, high-temperature products that have been designed to show an excellent degree of oxidation resistance, high mechanical strength, and good durability in extreme temperatures. These pipes and tubes are manufactured from UNS S30815 grade, which contains around 21% chromium, 11% of nickel and rare earth elements and can resist oxidation for intermittent service at 1150℃. They are also very creep resistant and thermally fatigue resistant, and are therefore preferred over conventional stainless steel grades for high-temperature applications.
