The C35330 DZR brass hollow bars are bored leaded brass stock for machining valve bodies, fittings and fluid handling components that require dezincification resistance. The composition of C35330 hollow bar consists of copper 59.5 to 64.0%, lead 1.5 to 3.5%, and arsenic 0.02 to 0.25%. Arsenic prevents dezincification and lead gives free-cutting machinability. This alloy is not lead free and can be used for the manufacture of parts for water systems and industrial fluid equipment. It is hollow allowing for the internal boring, threading and precision turning of components to a desired size. USA Piping Solution can supply hollow bars for the sizes you are looking for in C35330. Frequently Asked Questions

1. What are C35330 DZR brass hollow bars?

C35330 DZR brass hollow bars are bored brass stock designed for machining components requiring resistance to dezincification and corrosion.

2. Is C35330 brass resistant to dezincification?

Yes. C35330 contains arsenic to improve resistance to dezincification in water-related applications.

3. What are the main applications of C35330 DZR brass hollow bars?

They are used in plumbing fittings, valve bodies, water meters, pump components, water distribution systems, and fluid control equipment.

4. What is the difference between C35330 and CW602N brass?

Both are leaded DZR brasses, but their chemical compositions and material specifications differ. Confirm the applicable standard before treating them as equivalents.

5. Is C35330 DZR brass suitable for drinking water applications?

It depends on local drinking-water regulations, lead-content requirements, and product approvals. DZR performance alone does not guarantee potable-water suitability.
